Andre Simon
Company founder and director Andre Simon is the driving force behind STM's growth and development. While Andre is still responsible for STM's tuning work, and a majority of the race-engine development, his focus has moved towards improving and growing the business. His vision is to have STM at the forefront of automotive performance worldwide, and he is determined to achieve success.
Recently Andre has become involved in writing technical articles for various automotive magazines, as well as presenting tech training seminars where he draws on his tuning experience to help increase industry knowledge.
Andre's commitment to the success of STM as well as his involvement in a wide range of motorsport events doesn't leave a lot of free time. What free time he does have he makes the most of with his wife Bonnie, where he enjoys catching up with friends over a few drinks.
Bam Blaikie
Bam has been with STM since the beginning, and has been responsible for much of STM's success. As STM's Workshop Manager, Bam takes responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of all workshop jobs. Coming from a Mitsubishi franchise dealership, Bam was already a capable mechanic, however his skills extend well beyond mechanical work. Bam is responsible for the majority of STM's custom fabrication, as well as the installation and wiring of aftermarket ECU's.
When not fabricating automotive art works, Bam loves downhill mountain biking, playing squash and fishing. He is also a fan of dubstep and will take any opportunity to get along to a gig. Bam will have a go at any action sports, and he has shown so far that he is usually pretty good at just about anything he tries his hand at.
Ben Silcock
Ben Silcock joined STM in 2008 as Operations Manager, and is instrumental in developing and growing the business. Ben's background as a web designer and as a semi-professional photographer has been a huge advantage to STM, and he is responsible for developing and promoting the STM brand and expanding STM's web presence.
Ben's enthusiasm and energy is contagious and has been central to STM's success.
Doug Goodall
Doug was brought on board in 2009 to help keep up with the ever-growing volume of customer inquiries. Doug came to STM from Armstong Motor Group where he was already experienced in a customer service role. Doug has been instrumental in STM's ability to provide superior customer service, and quick response to inquiries, and he provides the friendly face and voice of STM.
In his spare time Doug enjoys spending time with his new wife Louisa, and helps to raise their two young girls Lily, and Grace. Doug enjoys the opportunity to get out with the family to spectate at drifting events where his daughter Lily is a huge Mad Mike fan.
