So you are interested in improving the performance of your Holden or HSV but you don’t know which upgrades are right for you? Well that’s a great start. It is one thing to look at a bunch of facts and figures on a web page, but what is it going to mean to you in the real world?
Project Pushrod is STM’s development car, and it is always available for test drives. This gives you the opportunity to experience firsthand what all that extra power feels like under your right foot. You can also check out the aggressive exhaust note we can offer with our exhaust upgrades and test what remapping the automatic transmission feels like in the real world.
 

Current Level of Modification

Project Pushrod is in a constant state of development as we trial new parts and fine tune our packages. Currently the car is fitted with our Stage 3 Package which is described below:
 
Stage 3 is suited to customers who want the ultimate performance without resorting to turbos or superchargers. This is also the ideal package for those interested in track days or drag racing. You can expect an aggressive ‘cammy’ idle and a huge improvement in mid-high rpm performance. With the new cam and valve springs the engine redline now moves all the way up to 6800 rpm.
 
Fuel economy and low rpm torque do suffer with this upgrade package.  We can tailor a upgrade package to your needs.
 

Stage 3 includes the following parts: VCM Suite Over The Radiator Cold Air Intake X-Force stainless extractors STM de-cat pipes X-Force 3” stainless exhaust Kelford SS108-E camshaft upgrade Upgraded valve springs Twin row timing chain Custom STM ECU reflash with dyno printout Custom STM transmission mapping (automatic only) for more positive shifting
